Kill Bill III: Take Back The Web

I saw this over on BoingBoing, so the 3 readers I have probably have seen it already, but there's an effort to get people to switch to Firefox (and supposedly Google will pay you for it if you have a Google AdSense account). Anyway, the site is kinda cool (kinda) -- it basically rips off the Kill Bill look and feel with a list of 13 reasons why to switch. The fucked up thing is that if you visit their site using IE you get redirected to a simple page telling you you should switch to Firefox but without any of the *funny* reasons why to switch -- you just get a lame list of bullets. The best sell for switching isn't even presented to the people they're trying to get to switch.

Quick Update On Price And Timing For PS3

Straight from Sir Howard Stringer. This is just a bit of clarification on the bits and pieces of news we heard from the interview with Sir Stringer last week. PS3 will be out in the U.S. in time for holiday 2006 and cost between $300 and $400. I'm guessing $400.

More Evidence That MS Could Win The Next Gen Console War

Interesting little bit on the financial implications of the xbox360 and PS3 on their respective manufacturers and how that might influence the actual success of the devices. The quick summary? Xbox360 will be cheaper and Sony will loose more money on every device sold.
